Brendan Schaub was born in Aurora, Colorado to an English mother named Debra Schaub and a born and raised American father named Peter Schaub. Even though he’s an American his ethnicity is a hybrid of English, Italian and German.

Brendan Schaub comes from a martial arts background as his father was a second-degree black belt in taekwondo. Brendan Schaub was first enrolled in Overland High school where he was a part of the varsity lacrosse team as well as the varsity American football team.

He then went on to gain an admission into Whittier College. He tried hard to get a sports scholarship but wasn’t able to secure one. However, he did go onto join both the lacrosse team and the football team. Shortly after he transferred to the University of Colorado, where he started to play football full time.

After graduating Schuab wanted to pursue a career in football but went undrafted in the 2006 NFL draft. He was eventually signed by the Buffalo Bills. He then retired from the sport in 2007 and went on to greener pastures.
